Andy Grieder    Sax/Flute

As a youth, Andy was elected to the All-State Band in NY and studied with NY session players Dale Kletz and Ray German. In college, he studied jazz and toured with The Binghamton University Jazz Band, and The Fredonia Jazz Ensemble. He was a founding member of In Flight East, which played in the NY area for 10 years and won Downbeat's National Chicago Music Fest for original fusion jazz.

In Denver, Andy has played with GRP artist Nelson Rangell, and Chicago (the band) bassist Eric Baines. In Arizona and the west, Andy played Ovations Showroom at Wild Horse Pass Casino, the iconic Whiskey a Go Go in LA, School of Rock, The Marquee, Crescent Ball Room, Elks Theater, Orpheum Theater, Flippinger Theater and others.

He recently relocated with his family to Rochester NY, retired from chemical engineering, and is loving the music scene here in NY!

Jason Wamboldt    Drums

Jason recently relocated from Massachusetts and the band was fortunate to scoop him up! Previously with The New Motif, The Marcus Monteiro Quartet, and The Brothers Project. He combines pocket and rock-icon drumming to drive the band. Influenced by Stanton Moore, John Bonham, and Mitch Mitchell.

Monk Catallo    Keys

Monk continues the musical legacy of the Catallo family. At home in all styles he can rip through Giant Steps, go modal, and bring the band outside at times with challenging chord subs.

James Warner    Bass

James began his bass journey at 15 and spent countless hours at the House of Guitars learning to hold down the bottom from owners Bruce and Armand Schaubroeck, and their customers. His influences on bass are Rocco Prestia, Paul Jackson, Brian Bromberg, Jaco, Victor Wooten, and Marcus Miller. (Just like every other bass player that grew up on Jazz/Funk and Soul!)
He has played in the Rochester bands Different Every Time, Grandcrew, and Lake Affect. Currently with Don’t Know Jack, and Catz & a Sax. During the winter months he eschews the cold and gigs in Hobe Sound, FL . Current obsessions are collecting basses, wine, and cigars.

He studied with Alvin Batiste at Southern University and played in the Army Reserve band under the direction of MSG Ray Daniels.  He is also the music director at Rochester Bible Baptist Church.
Tony tells a story with his playing - sometimes a long story but, it is always entertaining!
